Now, after this ominous warining shot across your bow, let me lighten things up a bit. There's good reason for all of the melodrama....

With photographs, you see only the checkered flag, the end of a process. But that long race, the time invested in learning , conceptualizing and creation, aren't even blips on the radar screen. And serious outdoor photographs ante up even more. We don't ply our trade in the cozy confines of a temparature-controlled studio. Heat, cold, blisters, fatigue, dehydration and a mulligan stew of other devilish discomforts are the price of admission to nature's often diaagreeable loveliness. Many of these images were hard won indeed.

View them and apprecialte what they represent. Please play by the rules, however and respect the effort expended in bringing them home.
